Swift Grant Requests (SGR)
The SGR provides a more rapid action than the TGR, but has an upper funding limit of $4,999. The SGR can provide a quick infusion of money for supplies, materials, and many other immediate needs. A subcommittee of the Board of Directors meets to discuss SGRs, and applicants can expect an answer from CCSF within 30 days of CCSF's receipt of the application.
 
Funding for the SGR is made in quarterly cycles. CCSF allocates $25,000 per quarter for SGR funding. CCSF observes the following quarterly cycles:
 
            a)  First Quarter: January 1 - March 31
            b)  Second Quarter: April 1 - June 30
            c)  Third Quarter:  July 1 - September 30
            d)  Fourth Quarter:  October 1 - December 30
 
It is important to note that once the funds allocated for a given quarter are distributed, SGRs will no longer be accepted until the beginning of the following quarter.
