CheckCancellation Policy
Please note that CCSF's check cancellation policy dictates that if a check is not cashed within 30 days of thedate of issue, the check will be cancelled by CCSF and the grant is considered null and void.  The following procedure will be followedin such cases:
 
-If a check is not cashed within 30 days of the issue date, the applicant will be notified by phone to cash the check immediately.  If a CCSF representative is not able to reach the applicant directly, a detailed message will be left followed by an email detailing same.
 
-If one week passes without a response from the applicant, the grant check will be canceled.
