Check Cancelation Policy.
Please note that CCSF's Check Cancelation Policy dictates that if a check is not cashed within 30 days of the date of issue, the check will be canceled by CCSF and the grant considered null and void.  The following procedure will be followed in such cases:
 
-If a check is not cashed within 30 days of the issue date, applicant will be notified by phone to cash the check immediately.  If a CCSF representative is not able to reach the applicant directly, a detailed message will be left, followed by an email detailing same.
 
-If one week passes without a response from the applicant, the grant check will be canceled.
